Blessings are passive boons The breathing universe itself etches into an individuals soul and body. To take a blessing from someone would be a divine feat in its own right. Blessings are another concept not understood well within the world but are one of the strongest boon the breathing universe can bestow as they give you unique endless possibilities, from breathing underwater to seeing the souls of people. Blessings can be thought of as cheats to allow someone to have an ability completely outside of normal. Blessings and certain combos of blessings can also grant Titles. Blessings are so woven into a soul that The breathing universe itself may not even be able to remove it, even if The breathing universe were somehow destroyed. However, stronger blessings can take a larger time to 'cook' depending on the complexity of the blessing.

It is important to note that some races may have innate abilities or genes that may look as if they all have the same blessing, like Dragons being born with the ability to control their respective element but blessings can not be applied to a whole race, that is just the world and natural selection at work. Blessings aim to add unpredictability in the world, worlds, and throughout The breathing universe through purely magical means.
