Conditions

Conditions are a way for someone to change the property of something to bring about a certain effect. Conditions normally involve sacrificing something to change the function that uses Mana on a willing thing that can use Mana.

Conditions let people become more proficient in specialized areas. An example would be someone setting a Conditional to only limit themselves to fire based attacks and by doing so, their fire attacks are now more powerful.

Conditions are a lot like Titles with the authority being yourself. Unlike Titles, you're not giving other people something to react to, and since you are your own authority for a Condition, they are very, very often minor changes to a way someone uses their Mana. However, slight they may be, these changes offer tons of versatility and the more you're willing to sacrifice or trade, the bigger the exchange.

One drawback of Conditions is that they aren't in the heat of battle option. A Condition requires deep thought, a tangible effect, a strong desire, meeting the requirements, and a trade-off you know is fair. If any one of these are lacking a Condition will not be made and the one attempting the condition won't know what is off.

Once a Condition is set, they are actually hard to break as they are followed automatically in most cases and are always known to you. In the event a Condition is broken, the user may experience a sudden shift of their Mana, depending on how potent the Conditions was.

With that being said, Conditions are made all the time. When someone decides to learn how to move water with their Mana, they spend that time, form that will, think deep about what they are trying to do, trade their life practicing the skills over and over to get it right. And is the main reason many who undergo a change in Disciplines feel very lost at first.
